Here’s Why I decided to help OFWs after working in Saudi and SG

I worked in the corporate world for 12 years. I spent 5 years working abroad, 13 Months in Saudi Arabia as an IT guy and more than 4 years in Singapore.

I know the hardships and sacrifices ng mga kapwa ko OFW..

I know the situation of an OFW in the Middle East compared to the OFWs in South East Asia.

Malaki ang difference. Iba-iba ang challenges nila, I talked with a lot of my fellow OFWs and I know their pains..

Naranasan ko kasi mismo ang Sandstorm sa Saudi Arabia and pag nag Sandstorm, ibig sabihin mag iiba ang weather.

Naranasan ko at alam ko na dalikado dun, na-rarape ang lalaki, walang sinehan, , no pork and I can’t even talk to females properly.

Kabayan ang tawag namin sa kapwa Pinoy sa Saudi.

In Singapore, yes, open lahat. Pero there is always indirect discrimination.

Pls don’t get me wrong, I had a good time working abroad, but I also learned a lot of stuff, kaya alam ko ang nararamdaman ng mga kapwa ko OFW, isa din kasi akong OFW dati..

At Mapa issues sa Family, Homesickness, and problem on how to return for good sa pinas na they can support their loved ones sa Pinas – yan normally problem ng OFW.

In Singapore I attended lots paid of trainings, courses and seminars, read a lot of books regarding Financial Literacy, Investments and business.

Now I am in Pinas, I was able to go back for good and ang reason is I am Financially literate na. Now, I am with my loved ones.

Hindi ko na ka-facetime ang parents ko, kuya ko, mga tito at tita tuwing Noche Buena at New year.

Hindi ko na sila ka-skype pag may occation sa Pinas. Ngayon I’m with them spending happy moments with them.

I want to share my learnings on how I was able to return for good sa Pinas. My mission is to help my fellow OFWs and that is the reason why I created this blog, Super OFW Investor. I want to give back to the community, which are to my fellow OFWs.

Thru this blog, I am sharing freely what I know, changing mindset, inspiring stories of OFWs, things I learned which will help OFWs. I do it here all for free,,

This is my advocacy, my mission,,, to help and make OFWs financially literate

I have a soft spot sa mga OFws kasi OFW din ako dati.. that is the reason why I want to help , kasi alam ko ang hirap at sakripisyo nila.. mahirap mangibang bansa at malayo sa mga mahal sa buhay..
